The Best Value Certification is a way to distinguish individuals experienced in the Best Value Approach. It is the only certification that is approved by Dr. Dean Kashiwagi, the creator of the approach, and presented through the research department Performance Based Studies Research Group (PBSRG) at Arizona State University (ASU). The certification is continually updated by PBSRG and Kashiwagi Solution Model Inc. (KSM-Inc.) with the latest advancements in the Best Value Approach. There are five different levels of certification that each represents a different level of knowledge an individual can achieve.
